MICHAEL BYRNE
Michael Byrne (sometimes credited as Michael Riley) is an aspiring writer/director from Rochdale, UK currently living in North East London. When not earning his rent and lamenting the grim reality that a film and Television degree does not get you employment, he spends his nights writing short scripts and features (one of which, ‘Wise Woman’ was accepted and critiqued via the IFA and Bluecats screen writing competitions) as well as looking for opportunity to continue his camera work on any independent gigs he can scrape up through contacts and colleagues. Michael also writes for the independent music review website, www.lefthip.com and has spent several months as a stills photographer in Vancouver Canada.
Michael doesn’t usually write about himself in third person but to make this biography as formal as possible, Michael thought it best to do so.
